How to Improve Ear & Oral Training
How to Improve our Ear and Oral Tests - a fun hands on
workshop for everyone. Based on the methods KC designed in
1980, he will share the joy of solfege, the art of singing
and hearing in all 12 major and minor keys, chord
progressions with playing and singing at the same
time. A few simple exercises daily for only 20
minutes will permanently engrave the music tones into our
subconcious mind in order to excel in our ear and oral
tests required by the RCM exams.
KC Foong has taught the above methods to thousands of
students and teachers in New York, Switzerland, Asia and
now Vancouver. He was trained and certified in Kent State
University in Ohio, USA, the Juilliard School, New York,
Berklee College of Music, Boston and the Associated Board
of Royal Schools of Music, England. Having designed music
syllabus and worked as a teacher's trainer, examiner and
adjudicator for universities in New York, London,
Australia and Asia, his original music soundtracks are
used in TV stations in 45 countries and recently in the
Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF).
